In India, bail is one of the most important rights available to an accused person. The Criminal Procedure Code (CrPC) provides different types of bail depending on the stage of arrest or investigation. Two commonly discussed types are Anticipatory Bail and Regular Bail.
Though both serve the purpose of protecting a person’s liberty, they differ in their timing, procedure, and purpose.
What is Anticipatory Bail?

What is Regular Bail?
